Actress Priyanka Chopra took to micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate actress Kangana Ranaut for bagging the National Award for Best Actress, for her role in Queen. The winners of 62nd National Film Awards were announced in a press conference in New Delhi on March 24.


 


Priyanka, who was pitted against Kangana for her role in Mary Kom, tweeted:


I hate losing.But if I had to take a back seat to anyone this year it would be U #KanganaRanaut ! Congratulations!yay Queen!#SmallTownGirls

Priyanka, had previously won the National Award in the same category for 2008 film Fashion, for which Kangana also won Best Actress in Supporting Role award. ( National Awards: Kangana Ranaut Wins Best Actress, Queen is Best Hindi Film )

Haider won Best Male Playback Singer for Sukhwinder Singh for the song Bismil; Best Dialogues and Music Direction for the film’s director Vishal Bhardwaj; Best Choreography for Norway-based Sudesh Adhana; and Best Costume Designer for the effervescent Dolly Ahluwalia.


 


Meanwhile, Priyanka is in Atlanta for ABC Studio’s TV show Quantico.
