SPECTRE star Daniel Craig, who is tight-lipped about the plot of the film, says the whole scenario regarding the upcoming Bond movie is like a magician keeping his tricks a secret.

The 47-year-old actor, who is reprising the role of James Bond in the eagerly-awaited new movie, said he is happy that certain aspects of the film remain to be a bit sacred, reported Contactmusic.

Asked if he can reveal any details of the storyline, Mr Craig said, “It’s becomes a joke. People want to ask me what the plot is about and I’m like, ‘I can’t answer the question’. It’s like when a magician does a trick and they’re like, ‘I’m not going to show you how it works’. I like that, keeping it a bit sacred… You know, wait and see until the movie comes out.

Mr Craig, who starred as Bond in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, also said the most-recent Bond movie – the Sam Mendes-directed Skyfall – marked an important shift for the Bond franchise.

“What happened in the last movie was a big kick, bringing Sam in and we took the movie in a different direction. We kind of created a language that was different from the other two, but that was faithful to Bond (but) that was kind of new,” he said.
