Actress Sonam Kapoor turned 30 on Tuesday and has been wished a year full of happiness and good health by members of the Hindi film fraternity.
Sonam, who is the daughter of Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, began her career as an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali on his 2005 drama film Black starring Rani Mukerji.
The glamorous actress made her film debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic-drama Saawariya opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She later featured in the political drama Delhi 6 in 2009.
Famous for her impeccable dressing style, Sonam had her first commercial success with I Hate Luv Storys in which she starred opposite actor Imran Khan. She received critical acclaim for her performance in 2013′S romantic drama Raanjhanaa and the biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The actress was last seen on the silver screen Dolly Ki Doli, directed by debutant Abhishek Dogra.
Sonam is currently busy shooting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in which she co-stars with Salman Khan and Neerja Bhanot, an upcoming biographical film directed by Ram Madhvani.
