Premature ejaculation is a condition suffered by many men, and can affect men of all ages. While it is more common in older men, the younger generation can often experience is as well. It can actually be quite a serious condition in younger people, and can lead to marital, relationship and emotional problems. There is some good news though – there are a number of natural remedies which can alleviate the problem and help you to lead a more satisfying sex life. It’s important to remember that these treatments are natural, and therefore take longer to work than prescribed medication – you may need to wait a couple of months before you start to see results. Natural remedies work by boosting the circulation of blood to the sexual organs, which is one of the most common reasons for premature ejaculation and penile problems.

Onions

Onions have been used as an aphrodisiac in ayurvedic medicine for many years, but they are also good for boosting the strength of the reproductive organs. White onions are more effective in the treatment of premature ejaculation than red or green onions, as these will increase your circulation and help to prolong your erection during intercourse. They also carry a host of other health benefits, such as being great for your heart and for fighting off bacterial infections in the body. Onions can be eaten raw, or you can add them to a wealth of dishes to reap the health benefits.

Ginger

Well known for its anti inflammatory properties, ginger is another ingredient which boosts the circulation in the body. It is one of the preferred natural treatments for premature ejaculation and is very effective in doing so. The thermogenic properties of ginger means it heats the body up, helping blood to rush to the penile region and helping you to retain an erection. It actually works well with honey, another aphrodisiac and energy booster, so you may wish to try combining a spoonful of ginger juice with half a teaspoon or honey, mixed with a glass of milk before bedtime.

Carrots and half boiled eggs

Carrots can boost your libido, but if you serve them up with a half boiled egg and a drizzle of honey you will be welcomed to a potent aphrodisiac. It’s necessary to take eat this mixture regularly for at least three months before you’ll see any noticeable change. Eggs are high in cholesterol, so if you have an issue with your cholesterol then you should be weary of this treatment – it may be worth discussing this with your GP to ensure that it’s safe before you begin. Once you start to see the results you’re looking for, you can begin to wean yourself off the treatment.

Asparagus root

Asparagus is a great vegetable to add to your dietary repertoire, being rich in vitamins A, C and B. These are vital vitamins for sustaining an erection and a healthy sex life. It’s how you cook this vegetable though that counts. You need to preserve as many vitamins and minerals as you can, so try to cook it as little as possible to retain the nutrients.

Almond milk

Almond milk can be great for enhancing your sexual libido – this treatment can be a great cure for sexual problems. The best way to take the nutrients from almonds for premature ejaculation is to soak ten to fifteen almonds overnight. In the morning, you can peel the skin off them and crush them to a paste. Add in a piece of crushed ginger and a pinch of saffron and cardamom for a rich treatment for your lacking libido. Drink this with a glass of hot cow or goat milk – this can be taken in the morning and before bed for the best results to your problem.
