Pregnancy is one of the most precious times in a woman’s life. It’s also one of the most nerve-racking even for those who have done it before. Just as every woman is different, every pregnancy is as well, so it is important that everyone involved be prepared and on the same page. The OBGYN is going to be a large part of that process. Asking the following questions can help ensure that no matter what happens, everyone’s expectations will be met.

What is your ideology on the pregnancy and birthing process?

Knowing how the OBGYN handles the pregnancy and birthing process in advance will save on unwanted surprises throughout the entire experience. One thing to talk about is whether they prefer to use medical technology from the start or if they let things move along naturally unless there is a problem. Find out how often appointments are and if they will include teaching about parenting along with the prenatal care. The relationship between expecting mother and doctor should be open and bring comfort and trust to any situation that may arise.

How much and what kind of experience do you have?

The last thing a woman in labor wants to find out is that her doctor doesn’t have a whole lot of experience. Also, it is important to know what kinds of issues the OBGYN has dealt with in other pregnancies. Things to find out are the doctor’s induction rates and how many high-risk or special needs patients have been treated. Knowing the history of the doctor will allow the mother to be assured that no matter what arises during pregnancy or delivery she is in capable hands. For women with high-risk pregnancies, it’s important to work with a maternal-fetal specialist like Dr. Gilbert Webb.

How can I keep in contact with you?

Issues can come up during pregnancies that cannot wait until the next appointment to discuss. In these instances, women should know how and when they can speak to their doctor. Some are on call, others have someone to cover for them if they are unavailable and yet others use email to communicate between appointments. How contact will be made once labor begins should also be in place well beforehand.

What can I expect at delivery?

So many things will be happening at such a quick rate once the mother is in labor. Knowing what to expect beforehand can help take some of the stress out of an already stressful situation. Things to discuss include which hospital the OBGYN delivers at, if or when they will perform an episiotomy, will the doctor induce and at what point, and what pain management techniques can be expected.

What happens after the baby is here?

Once the baby is born, the relationship between mother and doctor is not over. Patients will remain in the hospital until released by the OBGYN. As the amount of time differs, it should be discussed with the doctor so that arrangements can be made. As most doctors will schedule at least one postpartum appointment to make sure the vaginal area is healing properly and that there are no complications, the mother should find out at what point she will be going back to her primary care doctor.

Every woman has their own idea on how they would like their pregnancy and delivery to go. Bringing a baby into the world is a team effort so communication becomes key in making the experience as pleasant as possible. Speaking to the doctor and making sure that everyone knows what to expect from each other can help mothers-to-be have a sense of control and comfort throughout the entire birthing process.

The continuing advances in technology serve to improve patient care and alleviate the work load of hospital workers. While some of these devices are in current use, others are in trial periods in facilities across the country.

Bloodless Medicine

Though regulations make transfusions relatively safe, patients may opt out of receiving blood products because of religious beliefs or concerns about safety. The innovation of bloodless medicine implements medication and technology that salvages, cleanses and extends blood volume without the need for supplementation with blood. The various techniques used in the process include minimally invasive surgery, coagulating lasers or electro-cautery instrumentation and volume extenders.

Remote Monitoring

In a report published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, 10 percent of the Intensive Care Unit beds in the country now have advanced systems that provide continual monitoring of critically ill patients. The systems consist of two-way television monitors and video cameras maintained at an operations center via computer, which enables nurses and physicians to monitor and interact with patients, families and other staff members.

Paperless Hospitals

Medical facilities are continually moving closer to becoming paperless environments. Advancements in technology include hospital automation consisting of computerized systems that create electronic forms. The systems have the capability of handling a multitude of information that extends from administration through patient care. Department and file filters ensure limited access to qualified personnel and printing options easily create hard copy replications of any file.

SafeStep Testing

The cost and prevalence of hospital acquired infections prompted manufacturer Getinge to create the SafeStep testing unit. The portable, hand held device is about the size of a phone and detects the presence of adenosine triphosphate, commonly called ATP. When present, the enzyme indicates living organisms. Staff members swab the areas requiring testing and insert the swab into the unit. Within 15 seconds, the device displays the results.

Infection Fighting Robots

Patients hospitalized at the Loyola University Health System may see three-foot tall, cylinder shaped robots rolling up and down the corridors. Equipped to emit ultraviolet light rays, the medical center uses the robots in unoccupied patient rooms and surgical suites to eliminate MRSA and other possible pathogens.

Closed Hospital Gowns

A hospital in Detroit recently began supplying patients with new gowns that completely close in the back and consist of a thicker material that provides added warmth. The gowns have snaps in the front that make the garment adjustable in size. Easily put on or removed, the gowns also allow for IV lines and medical equipment accessibility when needed.

Every year, engineers create technology that serves medical needs. The technology utilized in today’s hospitals was once only the product of minds that created science fiction.

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari said that she wants to collaborate with good directors as being an outsider she does not have the privilege to get roles written for her.

“I want to work with good people and good directors. I don’t have the privilege of choice to say ‘I want to work with you’ and the person will say, ‘Yes, come on, I will write a film for you.’ It doesn’t happen for people like me who come from the outside,” she told PTI here.

Aditi made her Bollywood debut in a supporting role in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Delhi 6 in 2009, and feels “lucky” that she has been a part of good films.

“I have been lucky that good people have chosen me to be a part of their films and I am really grateful. This fills me with a sense of positivity and there is so much to look forward to,” she said.

The actress, who has struck a balance between glamorous roles in movies like London Paris New York, Boss and performance-driven characters in Yeh Saali Zindagi and Rockstar, said she does not want to get pigeon-holed in a particular image.

“I want to do different things. I don’t want to be stuck in the ‘sweet girl’ box. I don’t want to be stuck in the ‘oh she is so glamorous’ box. I want to be brought into a film for more than that. I hope I bring more to the table than just a face and a fit body. But it is not a conscious decision. I don’t have a method, I don’t overthink things. Even on set I switch-on and switch-off. I could be bawling and the next minute I could be jumping. I work like that. I am a five-year-old kid in my head.”

The actress said she was fortunate to do films which were more than just “glamorous.”

“Even London Paris New York and Murder 3 were films which demanded a lot of work in terms of acting. There was good solid work for me. They weren’t just glamorous roles. And I believe there is nothing wrong with being glamorous, nothing wrong with being sexy or feminine,” Aditi added.

The actress will be next seen in Jolly LLB director Subhash Kapoor’s upcoming comedy film Guddu Rangeela, opposite Arshad Warsi and Kai Po Che! actor Amit Sadh. The film will release on July 3.

Actor-filmmaker Ben Affleck and actress Jennifer Garner reportedly split after 10 years of marriage because of singer-actress Jennifer Lopez.

The A-list couple announced their divorce on June 30 – just a day after their tenth wedding anniversary. FemaleFirst.co.uk quotes one of the couple’s friends as saying that one of the reasons for the break-up was Ben Affleck’s continued friendship with JLo, with whom he was formerly engaged.

“Everyone is talking about JLo and Ben and saying it’s inevitable they will get together again at some point. We call them the Richard Burton and Liz Taylor of Hollywood,” the friend said.

“They were pretty flirty at the Oscars and have stayed in touch over email. Jennifer Garner never liked it,” he added.

Ben Affleck’s drinking habit is speculated to be another reason for the collapse of the couple’s marriage. The actor who quit drinking after a spell in rehab in 2001, started boozing to get into character for his role in Gone Girl. He also missed Jennifer Garner’s birthday in April .

The friend explained, “This has been on the cards for some time – it’s a miracle Jen hung on so long.

She has really tried but recently Ben has been back to his old self. He was drinking again while filming Gone Girl and has been gambling loads too.”

The actors have three children together – Violet (9), Seraphina (6) and Samuel (3).

Do you feel like you’re living life in a whirlwind? Is everyday rushed and frantic? Are you constantly struggling to keep on top of daily life? Do you wish you could live a simpler, more stress-free life that’s kinder both to you and to the environment?

Well, you’re not alone. Many people are getting fed up of the hectic pace at which we live our lives and want to make their home environments and lifestyles simpler. Here are a few ways in which you can take inspiration from days gone by to simplify family life whilst having a positive impact on the environment:

Transport
Almost every family today has at least one car but 60 years ago, only the wealthy would have had their own transport. Think about the journeys you make and rather than automatically jumping into the car, try cycling or walking instead. Not only is this better for your health but will help cut your carbon emissions too.

Clothes
Whether the buttons have fallen off your shirt or you just feel like something new to wear for a night out, it’s become normal to buy new clothes on a regular basis. Rather than mending clothes, we choose to buy new ones and with low prices and more choice than ever before, most of us have wardrobes bulging with cheap items that are only worn a handful of times. In the past, people cared for their clothes a lot more carefully and would mend items rather than replace them. By investing in fewer but better quality items, you’ll have a more stylish wardrobe and feel less stressed when deciding what to wear. And in addition you’ll be helping the environment by reducing the number of textiles sent to landfill and help cut the energy used in producing new clothes.

Recycling
In more frugal times, nothing was thrown away if it could be reused or repurposed. Think about the things you throw away and see if there is a new use for them. For example, empty jam jars can be washed and used as pretty flower containers, old envelopes can be used as scrap paper and empty boxes can be given to children for craft projects.

Cooking
Today we throw away more food than ever before. Of course, during the wartime rationing of the 1940s and 50s, many ingredients were incredibly scarce and people simply wouldn’t have dreamt of throwing food away. Today’s supermarkets and convenience food makes it easier than ever to buy and throw away food. Try making a food plan for the week, just as households in the 1940s and 50s would have done and then you will only need to buy the ingredients that you know you are going to use. Not only will this save you money and cut waste but could also lead to a healthier diet as you plan nutritious home cooked food rather than relying on ready-meals and takeaways.

Of course, many aspects of life in the 1940s and 50s were much tougher than today and it’s great that we have access to mod-cons and luxury items that make life easier but if you’re looking for easy ways to make your home environment and lifestyle simpler and more relaxed, then these by-gone eras may have lessons to offer.

Kangana Ranaut, who has emerged as the Queen of women-centric movies, is now set to impress the audience with her modern-day free-spirited role in Katti Batti. Having unveiled the film’s trailer, the actress managed to keep the mystery alive about its narrative and her character.

The trailer of the movie, which also stars Imran Khan, was unveiled here on Sunday.

Talking about the film, Kangana said, “It is a love story, which might not end up like a love story! The way this film unfolds, it is non-linear, it is really hard to give you an idea of what’s it’s actually about, especially my character in the film.”

Katti Batti features Imran as a young architect, Madhav Kabra, and Kangana as the free-spirited Payal.

Dropping more hints about the film, Kangana said, “It’s not about pregnancy. I don’t play a double role, I don’t play a Punjabi girl, I don’t play an NRI, nor do I get bored in the film, so no such things. There is no genre to the movie. The beauty of the film is that it is very intriguing. Revealing too much right now will take away fun and we really don’t want to take that away.”

Directed by Nikhil Advani and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under UTV Motion Pictures, the film will hit theatres on September 18.

She may not ascribe to titles but actress Kangana Ranaut certainly knows how to hold the court and hold forth like royalty. When asked at the trailer launch of Katti Batti who’s the real queen of Bollywood without skipping a beat Kangana replied, “Is Bollywood a country. That’s a lame question.”

On the subject of royalty, Kangana certainly channeled a King and I vibe a la Deborah Kerr, a dramatic choice for a rainy day. Kangana explained the outfit and said, “It’s a Sunday. You all were coming. I wanted to make it worth it for you all. I could have chosen to wear jeans and a t-shirt but this is just for you guys so you can get good pictures.”

Co-star Imran Khan looked rather dapper as well. Even if his career hasn’t shaped up as well as his sharp suits over the past two years.

Imran said, “I’m glad that I got this break. I needed to spend time with my family. My wife was pregnant, my daughter was born. These are things that happen once or twice in a lifetime, if you’re lucky. There’s no way I would give that up. I’m happy that I was there. That being said I’m also very happy that I’m back at work because I love to make movies.”

Considering the positive reviews that Katti Batti is receiving, it seems that like R Madhavan in Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Imran could be poised for his big comeback courtesy the ‘Queen‘.

Of which Kangana, defending Imran, said, “It’s a love story and both of us have equally important parts. May be Imran has more screen space but that doesn’t mean anyone’s character is weak.”

While Kangana can afford to be kind with co-stars, does talk of rivals ruffle her feathers? When asked about the status of her sometimes frosty sometimes friendly relationship with actress Deepika Padukone, she said with a serene smile, “It’s Katti Batti.”

William Friedkin, the US director who made the Oscar-winning movies The Exorcist and The French Connection, is dismissive about the flood of superhero and sci-fi movies that have taken over today’s box office.

“Films used to be rooted in gravity. They were about real people doing real things,” the acclaimed 79-year-old filmmaker told AFP on the sidelines of Champs-Elysees Film Festival in Paris.

The director said on June 16, “Cinema is all about Batman, Superman, Iron Man, Avengers, Hunger Games in America; all kinds of stuff that I have no interest in seeing at all.”

The race by studios to appeal to the broadest audience possible is why his own movies fell out of favour after his peak in the 1970s, he admitted.

“That is when my films went like that, out of the frame,” the director added.

Mr Friedkin said he saw the change happen in 1977 when he made what he considered his best movie , the largely ignored Sorcerer, about four men transporting a cargo of nitroglycerin in South America, only to see it eclipsed by the huge hit of that year Star Wars.

Now he reckons “the best work” for directors is on television, on US cable and video-on-demand services that produce quality series such as True Detective and House of Cards. The shift to those outlets, he said, is the “new zeitgeist”.

“You develop character at a greater length and the story is more complex and deeper than cinema,” said The Exorcist director.

“Many of the fine filmmakers of today are going to long form TV. It is the most welcoming place to work for a director today,” he further added.

The director is looking to ride that wave, and is working on a script for the HBO cable network about Mae West, the American sex symbol and entertainer counted as one of Hollywood’s biggest ever stars. He has spoken to Bette Midler about playing the part.

He is also looking at turning another of his big films, To Live and Die in LA, into a TV series, with different characters and plot.

Good vs evil

If his past work serves as inspiration for what he’s doing today, it’s in no small part due to the fact that he has long been fascinated by the timeless theme of good versus evil.

“Most of my films are about the thin line between good and evil that exists in everyone,” he said.

“I believe that within all of us, there is a good side and a dark side. And it’s a constant struggle to have your good side triumph over the dark side. And sometimes people don’t and lose control of themselves,” he said.

Although his NYC-cop-in-France movie The French Connection and the demon possession drama The Exorcist made him a star director at the time, his later films never scaled such heights.

But the The French Connection director resisted going back and doing the sequels to his masterpieces, saying it would have been purely about the money.

“I am not interested in making movies just for the pay cheque,” Mr Friedkin said, adding, “I have to love the film, the story, the characters.”

His movie The Exorcist “was enough,” he said. “There were four sequels to The Exorcist and I’ve seen none of them; nor do I want to or intend to.”

Likewise, with 1971′s The French Connection, which starred Gene Hackman and won five Oscars, “there was nothing more that could be said”.

That demurral didn’t stop the production of a 1975 sequel, also with Hackman and directed by John Frankenheimer, who notably made the original The Manchurian Candidate.

The Killer Joe director, however, placed Sorcerer well above The Exorcist and The French Connection as he looked over his half-century career and 20 films.

Sorcerer, starring Roy Scheider, was the one that emerged closest to his original vision, he said, and dealt with a theme that he holds dear – fate.

“If I am remembered at all for anything, I hope it would be that,” said the director.

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who plays the role of Simon Masrani, the owner of the dinosaur park in the movie Jurassic World, feels the success of the movie has turned out to be a blessing for him.

“The success of Jurassic World has come out as a blessing for all of us. I am overjoyed with the response that the film has received in India and abroad. I thank everyone who has contributed to this film and made it such a large success,” Irrfan said in a statement.

Jurassic World has minted over $200 million at the US box office so far.

22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, the story unfolds in a fully functional resort on Isla Nublar that sees more than 20,000 visitors a day. The new park includes a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park-type setting and, of course, unprecedented close access to real, living dinosaurs.

The movie, which also stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in lead roles, is set on Isla Nublar island, the same location as Jurassic Park and is a direct sequel to the 1993 super hit.

Ordering expeditious completion of case papers, the Bombay High Court today adjourned till July 1 a criminal appeal filed by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan against his conviction in the hit-and-run case in which he has been awarded a five-year jail sentence.

When the case came up for hearing, Justice AR Joshi was informed by Salman Khan’s lawyer Amit Desai that the ‘paper book’ (compilation of evidence and documents which is served to both the sides by the court) was not complete.

The judge then ordered that this task should be expeditiously completed and deferred the matter till July 1.

On behalf of the Maharashtra government, Chief Public Prosecutor SS Shinde appeared and consented to the date fixed for the next hearing. Salman did not come to the court. His sister Alvira was, however, present.

The High Court had on May 8 stayed the execution of the 5-year sentence awarded to 49-year-old Salman Khan in the 13-year-old case and granted him bail while admitting his appeal.

Mr Khan was convicted by a sessions court on May 6 and sentenced to five years’ imprisonment on various counts, including ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder’.

A man was killed and four others were wounded when the actor’s Toyota Land Cruiser ran over them while they were asleep on a pavement outside a bakery in suburban Bandra on September 28, 2002.

Mr Khan has challenged the findings of the trial court that he was drunk and was driving under the influence of liquor. The actor pleaded that the trial court had wrongly convicted him under the culpable homicide charge, because he had no knowledge that he would meet with an accident.

In the appeal, Salman Khan has argued that the trial court had failed to appreciate the fact that four prosecution witnesses, including the investigating officer, had maintained that there were four persons present in the Toyota Land Cruiser when the accident took place and that it was the family driver Ashok Singh who was at the wheel.

Apart from being convicted of culpable homicide, Mr Khan was also found guilty of offences under section 279 IPC (rash and negligent driving) and sections 337 and 338 IPC (causing hurt by acts endangering life or personal property of others), which prescribe six months’ jail.

Besides, he was sentenced to undergo jail for six months under sections 181 – driving without licence) and 185 (drink driving) of Motor Vehicles Act. Salman Khan was also found guilty under the Bombay Prohibition Act’s section 66 (a) and (b) for which he received two months imprisonment and fine of Rs. 500. All sentences will run concurrently.

Sometimes, keeping your mouth clean and maintaining fresh breath are not enough to make you feel your very best. Crooked, chipped and missing teeth or issues with overall tooth alignment are all things that can diminish the appeal of your smile and make you feel less than confident when dealing with others. Following are four ways that cosmetic dentistry can have a significant impact on your self-image and on your overall quality of life.

Gain Increased Confidence and a Positive, Proactive Mindset

Feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed about your smile can make you less than confident in all life areas. People with damaged or missing teeth are often reticent to engage in intimate conversations with others or to make a broad range of facial expressions. This limits their ability to communicate openly and without reservation. Once your cosmetic issues have been corrected, however, you can smile broadly, lean in confidently and express yourself without fear of what others might think about the state of your mouth. Feeling more confident about yourself will also make you far more positive and proactive in both the professional and social arenas.

Make a Better Impression On Others

Not only will you feel better about how you look, but people will respond to you better as well. Your smile is the most noticeable feature that you have and as unfortunate as it may be, people are prone to making snap judgments based upon what they can see. A healthy and complete smile is the best way to show others that you value yourself, your health and your appearance.

Balance out Bite Forces and Preserve Your Smile

In addition to making smiles look a whole lot better, cosmetic dentistry also supplies a number of practical, functional benefits. As you may know as you age, your teeth begin to show signs of wear and tear (Source: Guerra Dental).  Replacing a missing or badly damaged tooth will prevent the surrounding teeth from navigating out of their intended positions. This will also balance out bite forces when you chew, so that your healthy teeth will not be subjected to undue wear and tear.

Fewer Headaches

If you regularly suffer from headaches, missing or damaged teeth could be the cause. Imbalanced and misaligned bite forces place an incredible amount of stress on the jaws and facial muscles. Corrective, cosmetic procedures will make it easier for you to grind up your food without building up tension in the face that will eventually lead to a throbbing headache.

Cosmetic dentistry is not just about looking and feeling good about yourself. These procedures can have a tremendous impact on your ongoing oral health and on your health overall. They can also help you make positive impressions on others when showing off your smile.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns actor Deepak Dobriyal credited superstar Salman Khan and his co-star R Madhavan for carving a path for character actors in the Hindi film industry.

“There are two people – Madhavan and Salman Khan – who give space to their co-stars. It is because of them that the trend of increasing the length of role of actors, who are doing well in their films, is finding inroads in Bollywood. They always emphasise on giving more scenes to good actors,” Deepak told IANS.

The 39-year-old came into spotlight with the Aanand L Rai-directed film, with his witty one-liners. Deepak’s character named Pappi Singh, who played role of Madhavan’s close friend, got appreciation from all quarters turning it into a fad.

The actor, who has also featured in movies like Omkara and Dabangg 2, said that Madhavan boosted his spirits on the sets of the film, which transpired through the camera.

“I would say Madhavan’s involvement had a big role in how the character of Pappi Singh shaped up in the film. He used to clap and appreciate my performance in front of everyone. That filled me up with energy,” he said.

While Deepak is still coming to terms with the craze around Pappi Singh, he is all charged up with more rib tickling act for his next film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which also stars Salman along with Sonam Kapoor.

The actor informed that his role in the Sooraj Barjatya’s film involves a comic angle, but it’s different from Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

“It’s a funny character and is different from what I did in my previous film,” he said.

The 26-year-old actress made lukewarm debut with Amitabh Bachchan’s Teen Patti in 2010 but she got fame two years back with her stint as a budding singer in Aashiqui 2, opposite rumoured boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapur.

Shraddha, however, feels that fame has not changed her reserved-self much and she becomes a bundle of nerves whenever she is in public eye.

“I am a shy person in real life. I am not very social person. The only people I open up to are my family and close friends. Over the years, I have become more vocal but at the core I am a reserved girl. Many a times I think that I should change myself and become more expressive. People keep telling me to be a certain way as I am an actor but if I don’t have anything to say I can’t. I come out as a shy, nervous person and a little out of place because I need time and my space to become comfortable with someone,” Shraddha told PTI.

The Ek Villain star said that feels lucky that all those people in the industry whom she wanted to go up to and speak to, recognised her because of her work.

The finest example of this was her recent meeting with Mr Bachchan. “I am much more comfortable around Mr Bachchan now. We met at Piku‘s success bash and he met me so warmly. It was amazing. Back when I did Teen Patti, I was so nervous to face him,” she said.

Medical Malpractice is a professional blunder or negligence by a health provider which causes the patient to suffer in various ways, or in worst cases, even lose their life. There are many types of medical malpractice, but the outcomes are the same; the patient is always on the losing end.

Incorrect Diagnosis

We expect the medical professionals to know what they are doing. But if they erred in the diagnosis, which resulted in wrong or deferred treatments causing more injury and suffering to the patients, then they can be charged with malpractice.

No Supporting Laboratory Tests

Health providers are expected to send patients for laboratory exams to confirm and support their diagnosis and provide them with information as to how to proceed with the patient’s case. If they did not, they may not be providing the patient with the standard care that is necessary.

Healing Never Happens

We go to our health provider hoping that our illnesses will be healed. If our condition doesn’t get better and our ailment is not cured, there must be something wrong somewhere. Perhaps you’re experiencing a misdiagnosis, a wrong prescription, delayed treatment–whatever the case, the result is your continued suffering.

You Did Not Consent to The Treatment

Patients should always be notified about their problem and the surgeries or procedures to be done for their treatment, so they can make a decision regarding their health. Health providers are not supposed to let their patients undergo a particular procedure without their informed consent.

Wrong Devices and Interpretations

The erroneous use of defective or wrong medical devices can cause injury and even death to the patient. Errors in translating X-Ray and ultrasounds which results in misdiagnosis and eventually injury or even death of the patient.

Prescription Errors

A patient may be injured if the wrong medication was prescribed by the healthcare provider or if the dosage that they specified was too high or too low.

Unresponsive Doctor

A health provider who fails to provide relevant information to the patient is neglectful; part of proper medical treatment is enlightening the patients of their condition at all times. They should always respond to patients’ questions about their health situation.

No Follow-Up

After a procedure or surgery, the health provider should inform the patient the outcome of the procedure, and what the next stage of treatment would be. Leaving the patient hanging with no information is negligent of the health provider.

There are many other ways of identifying if you have been mistreated by a healthcare professional. Finding a new doctor you can trust to administer proper treatment is a good step towards healing. Similarly, finding a medical malpractice lawyer is a good step towards getting restitution.

Maintaining a healthy digestive-system is an essential aspect of remaining fit and retaining a sense of wellness and wellbeing. As well assisting with the digestive-process generally, practicing yoga can also help to relieve the distress of digestive-disorders such as Crohn’s disease and Colitis. Engaging in yoga regularly can provide fast-relief for such conditions, and can also have benefits for many people, living with a serious illness or recovering from an invasive medical procedure or type of surgery.

Yoga can help aid the digestive-process through the application of breathing techniques and patterns. These can help the body to produce extra energy, which is helpful in removing the toxic materials that linger in the body following the consumption of un-healthy foodstuffs. The materials are also formed as the result of other factors, such as stress and leading an un-healthy lifestyle. However, there are several yoga-poses that offer great assistance to the process of digestion.

For instance – the Ushtrasana pose helps to reduce constipation by flexing the intestines and stomach so it can be more efficient at digesting food. This body-movement is also known as the “camel pose”. The Trikonasana position can produce similar benefits by stimulating the appetite to ensure you eat when you should and the Matsyendrasana technique produces a massage and manipulation of the abdominal organs involved in digestion, thereby making the process more seamless and efficient. As well as aiding the digestive process, yoga can also help to reduce body-weight and improve blood-circulation, as well as provide a desire to stay fit and eat healthily. A healthy diet can help to increase the body’s energy, and provide benefits that help inspire you to stick to it.

As these are all fairly complex poses, and need to be practiced in a very specific manner in order to guarantee success; it is important to seek professional guidance before attempting them.
